Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Rigging Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervise crane operators, riggers, and mechanics during lifting operations.

  • Ensure all rigging and lifting activities comply with safety procedures and lifting plans.

  • Assist with crane setup and determine appropriate lifting methods and equipment.

  • Direct lifting operations and coordinate manpower, tools, and materials.

  • Read and interpret lifting plans, drawings, and project documentation.

  • Maintain work records and ensure completion of assigned tasks.

  • Enforce safety regulations, PPE requirements, and good housekeeping practices.

  • Ensure personnel are familiar with emergency procedures and site safety requirements.

  • Knowledge of crawler crane assembly, dismantling, and safe operational procedures in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a heavy lift organization.

  • Experience in construction, industrial, marine, or dredging projects (oil and gas project).

  • Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging gear, and lifting techniques.

  • Preferred Valid Safe Rigging Supervisor Certification.

  • Ability to read lifting plans, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

  • Good English communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and risk assessment.
