Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior mechanics in diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, inspection, repair and implementing corrective actions on mobile and crawler cranes.
  • Ensure proper collection and disposal of hazardous waste generated during maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to motors, pumps, hydraulics, and other systems.
  • Operate and maintain both simple and complex heavy industrial equipment.
  • Maintain and manage personal tools, including an up-to-date documented personal tools list, service records or work orders and reports.
  • Manage time effectively to complete assigned work orders within deadlines.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and clients.
  • Participate in training programs as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Work flexibly across all shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on job demands.
  • Follow safety and operational procedures of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) throughout the execution of assigned tasks.
  • Comply with company and client regulations and policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or automotive technology.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance of heavy equipment or cranes.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
