We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Storekeeper with proven experience in managing a technical warehouse specializing in spare parts for heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Inventory Management

• Receive, store, and issue spare parts and materials for heavy equipment while ensuring proper documentation and accurate stock levels.
• Use inventory management software and systems to track and record all items.

Record Keeping

• Maintain up-to-date records of incoming and outgoing items, ensuring that all transactions are accurately documented.

Stock Organization

• Maintain a neat, orderly, and organized warehouse, ensuring spare parts are easily accessible and categorized.

Stock Control

• Regularly monitor inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and inform the supervisor of any discrepancies or low-stock items

Order Fulfillment & Physical handling

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch or distribution, ensuring all parts are properly accounted for before shipment.
• Safely handle heavy items and spare parts, lifting and moving them with care while using the proper equipment.

Teamwork and Communication

• Work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding stock availability and order status.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in the regular upkeep of the warehouse and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper, particularly in a technical warehouse environment dealing with spare parts for heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures, including safe handling of goods.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
